Privacy Policy
Effective August 14, 2026 · DoorCali.com, operated by Matthew Smith, Luxe Places International Realty
The short version
DoorCali is currently a small set of information pages while the open house directory is built on a licensed MLS feed. There are no accounts and no listings on this site right now. This site loads no analytics, no advertising or retargeting tags, no session recording software, and no maps. The typefaces are served from this site itself, so the page loads nothing from any third party at all. There is one optional form, for a weekly open house email, and one tool that saves a tour list in your own browser. Both are described below. We do not sell your personal information.
What we collect
- Information you send us. If you call, text, or email using the links on this site, we receive whatever you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, email address, and the homes you are interested in. We use it to respond and to provide the real estate services you asked for.
- The weekly email form, only if you fill it in. The form asks for your email address and, optionally, the town or county you are watching. That is all it asks for and all we keep. We use it to send you the weekly open house email and to answer you if you reply to it.
- Standard technical data. Like every website, our host receives your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you request, and the page that referred you. This is how a page gets delivered to you. We do not use it to build a profile of you.
Your tour list stays on your device
The tour list tool on the home page saves the addresses you add in your own browser, using local storage on the device you are using. It is not sent to us, it is not sent to anyone else, and we cannot see it. Nothing leaves your device unless you tap Text my list or Email my list, which opens your own messaging or mail app with the list filled in, and you decide whether to send it. Clearing your browser data clears the list. There is no account and nothing to sign into.
The companies that help run this site
- Netlify hosts the site, processes standard web request data, and receives the weekly email form submissions on our behalf.
That is the entire list. The typefaces are served from this site rather than from Google, so no font provider sees your visit. If this list changes when the directory returns, this page changes with it, before the change goes live.
Cross site tracking, Do Not Track, and Global Privacy Control
Do other companies collect information about your activity across other websites from here? No. This site runs no advertising pixels, no retargeting or remarketing tags, no analytics, and no session recording software. There is nothing here building a cross site profile of you.
Being straight about the technical limits: because this site does no tracking, there is no Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal for it to act on and no advertising opt out to process. If tracking is ever added, this section will say exactly what it does with those signals before it ships.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We do not share your contact information with other businesses for their marketing.
- We do not run advertising, remarketing, analytics, or session recording trackers on this site.
- We do not run accounts, profiles, or login systems here.
- We do not add you to a mailing list because you visited. The only way onto the weekly email is to type your address into the form yourself.
- We do not use protected characteristics such as race, color, religion, sex, familial status, national origin, disability, or any other protected class in how we advertise or in what we show you.
The weekly open house email
If you sign up, you get one email a week about open houses. We do not sell, rent, or share your email address, and we do not hand it to a lender, a vendor, or another agent. Every email has a one click unsubscribe, and you can also just reply and tell us to stop, or email matt@matthewsmithrealty.com. Unsubscribing removes you from the list and does not affect anything else.
Text messages
If you text us, you may receive replies from Matthew Smith or his team about your request. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop at any time by replying STOP or by telling us to stop.
Your California privacy rights
This is a small independent real estate practice. Whatever our size, we want you treated the way California law intends, so if you want to know what information we have about you, correct it, or have it deleted, contact us and we will handle it for the records we hold, meaning the messages, contact details, and requests you sent us. We will not treat you differently for asking.
To make a request, email matt@matthewsmithrealty.com or call 707-893-7374. We may need to confirm you are who you say you are before we act on a request about personal information.
Reviewing or changing your information
There are no accounts on this site, so there is no profile to log into and edit. If you have contacted us and want to review, correct, or delete what you sent, email or call using the contact above and we will take care of it.
Security
We use reasonable physical, electronic, and administrative safeguards for the information we hold. No website or email system is perfectly secure, so please do not send sensitive financial or identity documents through a website contact link.
Children
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page and change the effective date at the top. Material changes will be described in plain language here.
What changed on August 3, 2026: the home page was rebuilt and an open house playbook page was added. A weekly open house email signup form was added, a tour list tool that stores addresses in your own browser was added, and the typefaces moved from Google Fonts onto this site so the page now loads nothing from any third party. This policy was updated to describe all three before they went live.
What changed on July 31, 2026: the open house directory was taken offline while it moves to a licensed MLS data feed. The analytics, mapping, and cookie consent components came offline with it, so this site now loads no tracking of any kind. This policy was rewritten to describe that accurately rather than describing components that are no longer present.
