The short version
DoorCali is an informational open house directory. You can browse everything on this site without creating an account, and we do not ask you to register. We collect very little, we do not sell your personal information, and if you contact us, we use your information only to respond and help you.
What we collect
Information you send us. If you call, text, or email using the links on this site, we receive whatever you choose to share, such as your name, phone number, email address, and the homes you are interested in. We use it to respond, to help you plan tours, and to provide real estate services you request.
Usage analytics. This site can use Google Analytics to understand aggregate site usage, such as which pages are visited. Analytics tools use cookies or similar identifiers. You can limit this with browser settings, ad blockers, or Google's opt-out tools.
Hosting and map logs. The site is hosted on Netlify, and maps are rendered with tiles from Mapbox and OpenStreetMap. Like most websites, these providers may process your IP address and standard technical request data to deliver the page and tiles.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your contact information with other businesses for their marketing.
We do not run accounts, profiles, or login systems on this site.
Text messages
If you text us, you may receive replies from Matthew Smith or his team about your request. Message and data rates may apply. You can stop at any time by replying STOP or simply telling us to stop.
Your California privacy rights
California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, including the right to know what personal information we have about you, the right to request deletion, and the right to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Children
This site is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and the effective date above.
